Lopez, you chickenshit, at least hit him if you are going to walk him everytime you face him.

I have a feeling letting Cash GIDP there might hurt, what with Timlin coming in to shut the door.

Timlin in for the one-run save... one of the less savory aspects of doubleheaders.

Lopez got the big DP to get out of the inning and now Timlin has the weak part of the lineup for the save. He gets the first two outs oin 4 pitches.

The NESN gun showed Timlin's last 3 pitches at 94. Could that be accurate? He gets the 1-2-3 inning and the save.

8 pitches to get the save. Any of you who saw that coming, please raise your hands.

That's what I thought.

WIN!

You know, in hindsight, I should have known Timlin would get them out 1-2-3 considering this was bizarro day out there.

Good day for us.

Rays lose, Yankees lose, and we win both games.

Good point. Note, though, that Lugo did not hit a HR today, as that would have caused the bizarr-o-meter to spin up to a high-pitched whine, emit clouds of gray smoke, and finally self-destruct.

If Timlin can regularly hit just 91MPH he can be a valuable contributor to the pen. The NESN gun had him hitting 94.
