Trust me when I say that I love what is happening to the Yankees, but it seems like people are more concerned with the Yankees getting blown out tonight than they are in the 2-0 game that we are engaged in right now.

Jeez. They give Meche an easy 8 pitch inning. (82 total) They need to work the counts and get into the bullpen.

Re: 5/20 vs. Kansas City Royals
And they've equaled last night's hit total. We were uncharacteristically efficient with our hits last night.

That's a whole lot of zeroes on the scoreboard.

Re: 5/20 vs. Kansas City Royals
Last night and tonight has been wonderful for all the Theo supporters out there. Our farm system is strong, and I think our future is very very bright. The rest of the AL east was sweating bullets before Monday, now... lol. I am loving every last bit of this. I love Mastersons potential.

Re: 5/20 vs. Kansas City Royals
Didn't you guys say that Masterson got hammered his last couple of starts in the minors? I realize KC has no better than a AAAA offense, but it's still hard to see this guy getting owned by the Mechanicsburg Camshafts or whatever.

its always tough for a guy psychologically to finally reach the majors and then get sent back down

I guess he's just a big pussy.
I'd credit his bad stretch, to bad luck, rather than a psychological breakdown. His BABIP has gone way up, ever since he was optioned to AA.
With this start, and the start against the Angels, he deserves a promotion to AAA.

Re: 5/20 vs. Kansas City Royals
Offense has taken a vacation to celebrate Lester's no hitter.
let's hope this time the bull-pen does not let the kid down.
