I have that same idol worship towards Schilling. No he isn't the best pitcher but there's just a certain thing about him and how he delivers to a game that's just all so serene. My only dislike of Schilling is he's too vocal, and now with 38pitches.com he's really getting into something he doesn't need to get into. He also should consider jogging instead of blogging.

I loved Nomar...still do.

I know I've told the story before in other threads, but after the ARod deal fell through, and he ended up stuck on a team who's FO made it clear they didn't want him, he still never took it out on the fans. I saw him at Spring Training right after all of that happened and he was still the guy signing autographs everyday and posing for pictures and giving back. He recognized that his beef was with the FO and not with the fans that had been cheering him since he was a rookie. The guy's a class act in my book. Thanks, Beautiful.

Nomar is arrogant, but Schilling is not?

Nomar is my favorite player of all time. I don't regret the trade now, but those stands in the back of the keyboard and a key or two broke when i smashed the keyboard after finding out about the trade.. It was right around when I joined here and I was in India. I remember Yeszir coming back and making a thread that was something like "What should Yeszir do?"
