Mookie was up and down from there, but was still OPSing around 900 in AAA (the number where you are really knocking the door down for a promotion to MLB IMO). Yeah, that 900 OPS is really the sweet spot for an MLB prospect promotion to me. Anthony got there. Mayer didn't.

This team used to be a top 3 payroll year in and year out. Bickering if they are 6th or 12th is silly. They have taken a step back while other ownerships have taken a step forward. I'll keep judging them on playoff appearances. Now they can't even field a team to make expanded playoffs. 2003-2019 5 of 17 years missed playoffs (under expanded rules) 2020-2025 4 of 6 years missed playoffs (under expanded rules) So what changed???
