I'm going to take a wait-and-see approach. Don't hate the signing. I just don't have any passion one way or the other. (Though he's a platoon player, so no reason to be passionate about it.) I hope he pays off for us.

I'm not a fan of Price, but I am glad we signed him. He was the best available SP we could sign. Love that no draft picks are lost. Anyone thinking about an opt out is just being doom and gloom. Enjoy that we have him. No one knows what three years down the road will look like. Great day for a Sox fan!

If nothing else, our Red Sox did win 3 wonderful championships under his tenure. I give him that.

I will reserve my opinion of Betts. Looks good so far, and I am glad they did not trade him. (Never wanted him as a part of any trade.) Just feel a wait and see attitude needs to be in effect.

Glad we got the win. Hated to miss seeing it because of work.

I really like this signing. I have high hopes that this kid will be a star for the Red Sox in the years to come. I know all prospects are a crap shoot, but I feel this kid has been put through the paces probably more than the average prospect has. I look forward to seeing the day he gets promoted.
