Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
Ahh yes, the first year grid. That was nice. I had to explain 8 million times how it worked, and still nobody joined. I think I even offered some junk as a prize. Thanks SFOC.
I'm joining the office pool tomorrow.

Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
If I win anything, I'll be using it toward a premium Yahoo league for fantasy baseball this season. However, if I don't win, I'll still be creating a premium league so that we can get any draft slot that we want. I'll send PM's out to the usual suspects inviting them to the league as the season approaches. No offense to those that don't receive a PM, but I feel I know enough about the usual participants here to determine who knows their stuff and will be active in the league. Activity is the big thing for me. I hate losing games in the standings because someone else in the race has a patsy opponent with 4 guys on the DL taking up starting slots all week.

Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
I have Pats 7 and Giants 3! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
My other numbers aren't horrible either. I'm pleased.
EDIT: BTW, what's the significance of having double 0? I've never really known.

It rounds out the grid. Impact for the player who has it. If there's no scoring 1st, half, etc
they. Ten zip they win. Maybe, I'm not understanding the question.

Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
No I think you answered it. See Red's box is yellow as opposed to green so I was wondering if having the two zeros was special or anything. So it just works like every other pairing of numbers?

Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
My numbers are tough. I have Pats 9 Giants 1, Pats 5 Giants 8, Pats 6 Giants 0, Pats 8 Giants 2. Maybe a 6-0 Pats lead after 1?

Re: The Talksox Super Bowl Grid
Just a little reminder about numbers. The obvious numbers : 0-0, 3-0, 7-0, 0-3, 0-6, 0-7, 3-3, 6-3, 9-3, etc. people seem to think of as the "good numbers". This may be true for the 1st or the half. However, as there are multiple scores the other number combinations come in to play. Say you have 5-8, that would mean a score of 35-28 is a winner. Same would be true for 2-5, a score of 42-35 would be a winner. Also as the game gets later, there's also the possibility of a team going for a 2 point conversation. Making it or missing changes the number combinations. Basically, the numbers tend to even out. Early favors the 0, 3 & 6 mutiples, later in the game the other combinations come in to play. Also, the largest prize is at the end. So in other words, the good numbers are the ones that win.
Good luck everyone !

Yes that is correct. The program that I'm using highlights the current winning coordinate, as the quarters go by each winners is aslo highlighted, if I activate the projection function, it will flash the winners if the next score is a field goal or touchdown. Sorry I misunderstood your original question.
