2008 NBA MVP kobe or LB ?
LB should win considering he's almost averaging a triple-double for stats but I think Kobe is finnaly gonna win his first MVP due to the fact his team is first in the west and 26 games over 500. as almost always the MVP goes to a team with one of the top record . barring a major collapse by the lakers kobe will probly win it
But I still think LB should win it .

Kobe, best team in a great western conference. He is the best player in the universe, no question about it.

It's going to be Kobe, since he's never won it. Thats not saying he SHOULD win it, but I think he will.

Lebron plays in the weak Eastern Conference. Kobe puts up his points and has his team leading the much tougher West. LBJ will get plenty of MVPs before it's all said and done. This is Kobe's year, hands down.
Kobe FTW.

Has to be Kobe. Actually, it's the Lakers GM.

Kobe plays with a much better supporting cast.
Paul plays with similar talent around him as LBJ does in Cleveland, and Paul plays in that great Western Conference.
It's said that Paul is going to get zero love for his season.
What I think:
Paul
LBJ
Kobe
What will happen:
Kobe
LBJ
Paul

Gimme CP3, Kobe, KG, or LeBron.
Too close to call right now, but I'd have to swing toward the homer vote and say KG.

He missed too many games IMO, and even he has a better supporting cast that CP or LBJ.

True, but the current rate the Celtics are going, no way people don't vote for KG.
If I had to pick one with a bullet to my head at the moment if I was a voter, I'd say CP3, but as an outsider looking in at the situation, I'd say KG.

Re: 2008 NBA MVP kobe or LB ?
now that the season has ended ... I'd have to say CPaul for MVP , he's accounted for 49 percent of his teams points troughout the season .
this is where I would vote them
1 Paul
2 LB
3 Kobe

Re: 2008 NBA MVP kobe or LB ?
For me it's a tossup between Paul and Kobe, with everyone else way out of the picture.

Yep. And since the Lakers won the West, Kobe will win, without thought to the fact he has Gasol and the next best player on NO is David West.
That's another reason I felt KG never really had a shot. Missing ten games doesn't exactly help his case but his supporting cast is much, much better than Paul's.
