Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
Pistons just wrapped up Ben Gordon for 5/55.
It's a lot for a shooter, but the guy can put it in the hole.
Hamilton will probably get moved now.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
They also got Villanueva, another Uconn Husky alum. I might start pulling for the Pistons in the Eastern Conference now....haha.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
Stuckey
Hamilton/Gordon
Prince
Villanueva
Brown/Maxiell
Hardly scary, 6th in the East at the very best.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
I don't even think that team is top 6 in the East. It doesn't scare me in the least bit.
All the top teams have the ability to expose the shit out of Stuckey, Gordon is a drop off defensively, Villanueva has trouble guarding true 4's and their bench is probably one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. They still have a lot of moves to make if they want to be competitive this year, and they're already around a $60 million cap figure, so they'll need to get better from the inside-out with some wheelin and dealin, which is what I expected anyways.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
I wouldn't be scared of them, I just like the guys on their team. Especially if Hamilton is still there. Then again I'm not a fan of the Eastern Conference anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
I would be in favor of Sheed signing with Boston.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
If they are losing Ariza and Odom I still think they've downgraded from last year.
Kobe and Artest on the same team will be interesting.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread
He definitely ups their defense and at this point I'll take them as the favorite.
