That's what happens when you have Vick as a quarterback .

He doesn't even get a chance to throw. How is it that the most athletic QB in football is constantly getting hit? His o-line is pathetic.

His O-line is bad and the play calling is idiotic (McCoy needs more touches, especially in Red zone), but you can't blame everything on the O-line. Vick has been pretty damn bad this year. However, I still think the benching him talk is a little crazy, especially for a rookie.

I will say though, I don't blame yesterdays loss on Vick at all. The pick 6 hit Celek in the hands and he really had no time at all, he was getting hit literally as soon as he dropped back all night.

Youre going to suck when you get no time in the pocket, and are constantly getting hit before you can even roll out.

Vick is a better than average QB just as a passer. He fumbles and throws interceptions too much, but those will go down if he doesnt have to face the pressure he faces.

This isn't like Christian Ponder, who is getting solid protection, and runs into defenders/forces passes into coverage.

I'm really worried about this Ben Roethlisberger injury and of course it would happen right before a Ravens game.

It's probably be the same as most any other Steelers/Ravens game. Decided by one posession, lots of turnovers and penalties, a lot of kicking and a lot of blitzing.

The Ravens are short one Ray Lewis, so there's that too.

I agree. However, it going to be very interesting, both teams are getting killed by injuries.

Ravens wont have Lardarius Webb, Ray Lewis, Jimmy Smith and Haloti Ngata and Steelers will be without Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Troy Polamalu, David Decastro, Marcus Gilbert and Ryan Clark and Rashard Mendehall are questionable..

I have a bad feeling about this game as a Steelers fan, I feel like losing Roethlisberger is going to kill our offense, especially with Antonio Brown and two lineman also out.. Leftwich has a long ass delivery and I definitely see the Ravens hitting him hard and often.

Harbaugh and Tomlin will both come up with a good gp, and it'll end up 9-6 in OT.

I just heard Leftwich is out now, possibly for season. What the fuck? On top of that, Polamalu is still hurt, Antonio Brown is out, Jerricho Cotchery is out, Roethlisberger is out, two O-lineman are out and our only other WR besides Mike Wallace Emmanuel Sanders, is questionable.. So now we are starting Charlie Batch at QB and likely signing Plax to start this week at WR..

We also can't keep our RB's healthy.. Mendenhall is hurt again and Redman suffered a concussion.

This is fucking ridiculous, these injuries just keep piling up.

Pitt needs to start getting younger guys on defense. Seriously, their front 7 is a force, but look at all the old dudes.

The secondary is old too, even Troy P has been around for what, 10 years now?

They're the oldest team in the NFL probably.

They definitely need to get younger, but the secondary is playing at an elite level right now. Ike Taylor and Ryan Clark are playing the best football of their careers and Keenan Lewis has really come on strong as the #2 corner, while Cortez Allen looks like a really strong nickle corner. But yeah, Polamalu is probably nearing the end.. I love the dude and he is one of my all time favorite players, but he just cant stay healthy and its so frustrating, thankfully Will Allen, a career special team is having a fantastic year filling in for him, so the loss hasn't been as huge as it normally would be.

Our front 7 is very old and injury prone and I'm not sure how much longer they can keep up this level of play... Harrison isn't getting any younger and is battling injuries, Larry Foote needs to retire, Hampton and Keisel are about done and I feel like we don't have many young backups who have shown much anywhere aside from DE, where we have Cam Heyward.. The Steelers defintiely need to draft defensively next year, our only defensive starters under 30 are Ziggy Hood, Lawrence Timmons, Lamarr Woodley and Keenan Lewis. I would say the biggest need would probably be either safety or MLB.. Polamalu and Clark are both getting up their in age and Foote just isn't very good and never has been.

Smith and Farrior were starting in the 90s, and they were still playing last year. They've waited way too long. The Steelers usually got a guy to step right in and play, but it doesn't seem like that's the case, and they lost to a very depleted Ravens team.
