Re: Official NBA thread
holly fucking shit how can you fucking not foul the opposing team while your winning by 3 with less than 10 seconds to go , let them make 2 free throws and get the ball back insted of giving the opposing team shoot for 3 to tie it . AND to get outscored 10-3 in the final 55 seconds .

Re: Official NBA thread
dallas......
steve nash scores 10 points in the last 51 seconds including the tying 3??
steve nash reminded everyone who watched who the mvp was
so did dirk nowitzki as he clanged the game winning free throw with 13 seconds to play
anyone see mark cubans face after the game??
ever see the girl eat the shit sandwich in tijuana??
that was a great great game to watch
it means nothing really in the standings but it does give dallas a kick in the teeth
whether that inspires them or smashes their confidence remains to be seen
i tend to think after dallas has had such an incredible run that a loss like that is actually healthy for them
reminding them that they need to finish stronger
steve nash.....
what a man

yeah they definately need to finish stronger .. dallas tends to give up with a big lead with less than a minute to play

Re: Official NBA thread
i think that the L maybe the best thing that happened to them
when things get too ez then complacent behavior occurs, even in proffesionals
the west looks like it will be a blood bath come june
san antone is on fire
phoenix looks good, nobody wants a series with the utah team but dallas is still the chalker here
what a fukin beast lil steve nash is

yeah nash is great but he got lots of help by dallas screwing up in the last minute.. first dirk fouls him on a loose ball (wich was stupid) and then howard fouls him on a 3 point attempt ...so theres 5 freebe points for him, and then wich i tought was the stupidest thing , they didn't attempt to foul nash with under 10 sec to go wich would have limited the suns to 2 points and no shot to tie it with a 3 and the mavs would have gotten the ball back with a 1point lead with less than 10 sec to play but no they let nash not 1 but 2 shots at the game tying shot
like i said total choke job

Re: Official NBA thread
i know you like dallas and all but dirk never impressed me in crunch time
this is his year
phoenix is athletic and can play up tempo better than anyone else
dallas needs to control the game lest they play to phoenix strength
im looking frwd to the playoffs this season more than i have in years

Re: Official NBA thread
The Nuggets may just be pulling their heads out of their asses. They destroyed the Suns 131-107. And their defense was extremely good. Four wins in a row, I think. I can't remember the last time the Nuggets beat a team this handily. I certainly can't remember the last time the Suns lost a game like this one...

Re: Official NBA thread
i was talking to a fellow degenerate sports friend this aft
denver is rollin and ai and melo are finding themselves and each other
20 5 5 for ai
30 4 3 for melo
goldi lox blake had 6 assists and 6 boards
i love guards that rebound but i never liked blake, even in maryland where he went all the way i never liked him
i cant believe hes having this kind of success but if you can shoot, hold onto the ball and find your money men and play a bit of D you'll make it
steve blake??
on the same team as lonnie baxter juan dixon and lonnie wilcox at maryland
hes having the most success i would say
