I looked at the box score and it says Tim Duncan attempted a 3 pointer and that Bosh attempted 3 3 pointers in the first half. wtf?

Yeah, but I don't see why you're surprised. Every year poor 3 point shooters attempt a 3. Howard just made one not too long ago. Bosh has looked like a fool on both ends tonight.

I'm surprised because Tim Duncan seems to be better than that. Bosh should stop shooting 3's regardless of whether it's an All Star game.

And it's 2013 and Kobe is still styling on LeBron.

Celtics are getting Jordan Crawford apparently.

For Leandro Barbosa.

Crawford is a straight up chucker with no basketball IQ and is very streaky. But when he's on, he can score in bunches. If I was a Celtics fan I'd like the move, not much risk and there is a lot of potential in Crawford.

It looks like the Celtics gave up Barbosa's expiring contract and Jason Collins. I think it's a good deal, however I think they really could have capitalized if they were able to deal Pierce to Brooklyn (I think) and Kevin Garnett to the Clippers. That said the deals on the table for those two weren't "must do's" therefore I don't blame them at all for staying put.

I also wanted both deals to happen to increase the talent on teams not named "The Heat"

I notice no one seems to having anything to say about what happened last night when my Lakers kicked the shit out of the Celtics in LA. Well, turnabout is fair play they say, and wasn't just about two weeks ago your guys humiliated the Lakers in Boston? Well, they split their two game series this year which is probably best for both fandoms. We had to win this game, though, since we were paying tribute to the departed Jerry Buss who we feel is the greatest owner in sports history. It would have been totally disgraceful if the Purple and Gold got black and blue last night. Bad enough our season is in the outhouse as it is. Now I wonder when we will ever have a Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals again. Say what you will, three thousands miles apart or not, this is by far pro basketball's greatest rivalry.

No one's saying anything about it because it doesn't matter. The Celtics are old and paper-thin. The Lakers are dysfunctional, old, and paper-thin. Neither team has any shot at accomplishing anything so bantering between the two is stupid.

The East is incredibly thin right now. We seem to be see the same old story in the playoffs for the Celtics... they go deep on veteran experience, but end up being steamrolled by one of the teams that goes to the Finals.

A 35 year old Pierce and a 37 year old Garnett plus scraps won't accomplish a whole lot. Miami has the east on lockdown anyway, the minute the Celtics meet them they're doomed.

AKA, steamrolled by the team who goes to the finals.
