Re: NFL Offseason Thread
I believe there is still a chance for Vinatieri to come back to New England. But not McGinest, its looking like the Browns with Romeo or San Diego which is where his home is.
Other News:
Quote:
Lions signed QB Jon Kitna to a four-year contract.
Terms aren't yet available, but we expect Kitna to challenge Joey Harrington for the team's starting job. Kitna makes way too many mental mistakes, but he's now of interest to fantasy leaguers because of the presence of Mike Martz. Consider Harrington the early favorite for the job.

4 years of Kitna, yeaa Detroit really knows how to get things done. Also Drew Brees is close to signing with New Orleans. He could be in the same situation as was with the Chargers, since the Saints are expected to draft Matt Leinart.

Re: NFL Offseason Thread
If they sign brees then they should trade down to stockpile picks.

Re: NFL Offseason Thread
The Culpepper trade pretty much sends Brees to the Saints.

I still stick by what I said....Daunte Culpepper is one of the worst decision making QBs in the game. Having to deal with the Patriots defensive scheme will not bold well for him. The AFC East is never an easy division and he will struggle.

Re: NFL Offseason Thread
updated the list. The Pats have to be 1 of the only teams not to make a move yet. It doesnt sound like they have any FA in their plans either, except for Vernon Hayes.

Re: NFL Offseason Thread
do the pats know that they have been allowed to meet with FA since last Friday. They havnt had 1 meeting and they havnt had any interest in re-signing anyone as of now. I would bet Minnesota puts alot of money on Neal. They came into the offseason needing to bolster there o-line and could by signing Neal and Hutchinson.

Re: NFL Offseason Thread
Pats would do themselves well to trade up and get either Santonio Holmes or Chad Jackson.
