Pats show how pathetic their passing attack is without Branch, and that's against the Bills. Just wait until they play some real teams and Brady can't get over the 200 yard mark consistently.

I'll wait to judge until i see how the team is with Doug Gabriel, Chad Jackson, & Ben Watson gel with the nice running back duo of Maroney/Dillon

Don't expect much. The running game does look very promising though.

I expect that Maroney will be starting next week.

Buffalo is also a little weak in the defensive line, so I wouldn't put too much stock into that. The running game, Maroney, anyway, should be fine in and of itself -- but if teams can focus on stopping the run without worrying about getting burned through the air, it's not going to be a particularly great offense.

That's what REALLY scared me yesterday. In the first half, there was NO blocking against, what you just said, a weak defensive line. I was thoroughly disappointed, especially on the first play of the regular season with that freak 5 yard fumble recovery for a TD. That was so stupid.

The Buffalo DLine is pretty good with Schobel and Tripplet. They are better than you think.

Remember Sam Adams? Even though we got humiliated that day, losing to Buffalo 31-0, I still laugh at Sam Adams' INT TD

It's not just me. When Foxsports.net ranked every team by position, the Bills had the 29th best defensive line in the League. It's a bad D-Line.

Battle for First Place next week, the 1-0 Jets vs. the 1-0 Patriots!

FOOTBALL!!!! WOOOO!!!

Pennington looked good Sunday, but has a bad history against Bill Bell's crew. Maybe Mangini can give him a few pointers, since he helped draw up the schemes that shut Penny down.

I'm rolling my eyes because the end result seems familiar, not just facing the Pats, but when we face every team.

You must be thinking of Romeo Crennel because Mangini was pretty much stripped of Defensive playcalling last year.

Even after the Notre Dame season was over, Charlie Weis came back and was in the offensive coordinator's booth "observing" what was going on. He was definitely, without a doubt, calling the plays.

The point is Mangini worked with the defensive backs two years ago (the last time Pennington actually played), and must have some insight as to what Belichick's philosophy is against the Jets.
