Default NASCAR?

Im sorry if i offend anyone but that the hell is so appealing about NASCAR? Is their some mystery to it i dont understand. I guess its the fastest growing sport in America, people actually listen to it on the radio. On the friggin Radio. They go around in friggin circles what is their to listen to?
In a 250 mile race the average car consumes gas at a rate of a gallon every two miles, which is 125 gallons. Take that X 40ish X every weekend X all the people to drive to watch that = one big friggin waste. What about the "Sport" am i missing?

You're obviously missing the STRATEGY of it. Duh. Do you turn the wheel 34 degrees to the left or 35? These are serious questions.

I heard it on the radio today as I was flipping through the dial. There wer 80 laps left. I couldn't understand why anyone would want to listen to NASCAR. Go figure. Is this something new on Boston radio?

I cannot imagine listening to NASCAR on the radio.

'And there they go. Around and around. And around. And here they come around...ONE lap! There they go around and around...'

If they were to add pit traps, flame throwers and the likes, their ratings would sky rocket. Thats a sport.

I think they should do lightning bolts, banana peels, and turtle-shells a la MarioKart...I'd freaking watch that on Gamecast, not to mention the radio if given the chance!
