08 Draft
I was glancing at the Schedule for the 08 season, and I looked at SF, I got them going 4-12 next season. They have a pretty tough scedule. So maybe we will get a top 10 pick out of them

Re: 08 Draft
Come on man, this is just ignorance... Do you know anything about the 49ers? They added Michael Lewis and Nate Clements to their defense, had one of the best drafts of any team in the League, and added Darrell Jackson and Ashley Lelie on offense and Vernon Davis missed six games. Besides, what's to stop some of the other teams on their schedule from regressing? And also, their schedule, based on how these teams did last year, should be in the upper half of the League for easy schedules, not the lower half.
They're considered to have one of the top off-seasons along with New England and Denver... how can a young team that took huge strides last year and added so much veteran talent look primed to regress?

Re: 08 Draft
Holy shit. You really have them going only 4-12? I'm going to say 8-8, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish north of .500 with the talent they've added. 8-8 should be good enough to snag them an NFC Wild Card spot.

Re: 08 Draft
I thought 8-8 too, with a pick in the 14-18 range. That is still a 10 spot jump for a draft that is supposed to be very good.

Re: 08 Draft
There is another point to consider other then the obvious one of moving up in the 08' draft. That would be that the Pat's didn't see anyone that was available that would be worth 1st round money. Remember that they had to have Brady restructure his contract to accommodate the trade for Moss. Considering the amount of quality moves they made in the off season and an already solid nucleus, there was not much room for rookies to make this team.

Re: 08 Draft
2-7 at this point of the season...
Man who looks like the genius now? I took alot of shit for saying the 49ers would regress and suck this season, and now that pick looks like a top 5.
Anyone man enough to come back now and admit I was completely right and you all where o so wrong?
