Re: 2007 NFL Season
Davenport is also a fairly competent backup.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
The Steelers wont miss their running back who gave them 1316 rushing yards this season? IMO Davenport is solid but there is really nothing behind him on the depth chart. They have to bank that he will not go his career route, which is being injury prone.

With the offensive line in front of him, they can run the ball with anyone.
The sacks are a non-issue in this instance because that's a completely different type of blocking. The Steelers' line can run block. Willie Parker's rushing total is more of a compliment to the line than him.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
I'd take a 4 TD performance from Romo in like, a 31-28 loss.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
Green Bay Packers, property of the citizens of Green Bay or property of the Chicago Bears? If this holds up, Bears up 21-7, that would be a season sweep for the Bears, accounting for 2 of 3 losses.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
The Patriots have been shut down in the 2nd half. Going for it on 4th & 7 when youre in field goal range already? Take the 3 and be up 31-7 with 9 minutes left to go
Patriots win 28-7, but oh god what a piss poor 2nd half showing

Re: 2007 NFL Season
the were playing to score and brady was forcing everything
the fins play us tuff all the time it seems.
buffalo blew that game today, eli is 1 and done in the playoffs
greenbay got throttled in the 2nd half.
it dont mean shit outside of bragging rights
joe gibbs is the 2nd best coach ive seen and his guys are playing real well now
you dont want to have to get by him
tavraes jackson...come beat me....
he sold out for the run and the vikes had no answer till late.
gibby won 3 sb's with 3 guys who were journeymen, hes a tuff out
indy and jaxonville are clicking, jaxonville remains under the wire, they need playoff success of some sort to vindicate a great regular season
tamoa and seattle are 5 win teams in the afc and im sincere in this
dallas is good the pack are having a great year too but the rest of the league eats it

I wouldn't be worried just yet, the reason for the poor 2nd half was brady going for the record books , wich he could afford to do with this shitty dolphins team

You're right on the money with Gibbs. The 'Skins are very motivated now. They've survived a mid-season slump and they are now on a roll. I'd watch out for them come playoff time.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
Gibbs has been good the last couple of weeks, but he's a big reason why they haven't already clinched a playoff spot, IMO. His supporting staff has been on the ball too. They've suffered from poor clock management, which to me is a lack of focus and poor communication. The 12 man on the field challenge to avoid a turnover was a good example of how they've improved the last couple of weeks.

Re: 2007 NFL Season
the skins had a couple of boneheaded moves that cost them games late
that game against buffalo was sickening

Re: 2007 NFL Season
Beautiful throw from Collins to Moss. Looks like WAS will be in the playoffs.
I love sports.
