Default The Super Bowl in London?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...v=ap&type=lgns

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Basically the biggest year round sports event in America should be in America. Also it would be a blow to the fans of the opposing teams as they would not only have to buy tickets, but airfare and hotel. Thats considering how many are willing to fly overseas

Depends on where. My girlfriend comes from Downings, Donegal Co., Ireland and says the NFL is all the rage over there.

A lot of european football teams come over here to play exhibition matches with U.S. MLS teams.

But all the NFL did was just make it even more complicated for fan to go to a superbowl nevermind the NFL giving away 1000s of tickets to the media when it's in the states.

Eh, I think it's pretty cool, actually, and would go a long way towards making American Football more popular over there. Didn't the regular season game in London sell out rather quickly?

I like the idea of a few regular season games in London, but certainly not the Super Bowl.

That needs to be in America. Regardless of how much they like it over there, the super bowl is a purely American phenomenon.
