Wow, we have an amazingly pitching rich farm system! Really good to hear.

Yeah, it kicks ass. Its too bad we have to go through all this rebuilding to make sure that our good prospects can develop correctly!

Re: Hansen, Papelbon, Lester Pitch well tonight
Monday was a disappointing night for the PawSox. They split a doubleheader with Rochester, winning the opener 8-7 in 8 innings and losing 10-9 in the nightcap. In the opener, Dave Berg nailed a game-winning, 2 run homer to push the PawSox to the extra-inning victory. Luis Figueroa had a pair of hits and 3 rbi, and Shawn Wooten added 2 hits and 2 rbi. Cla Meredith suffered a blown save, but did earn the win to improve to 2-5. In the second game, Dustin Pedroia hit a pair of homers and knocked in 5 runs as the Sox fell to 62-61. Pawtucket erupted for 5 runs in the first and 3 in the third, then hung on for dear life as the 8-0 lead slowly evaporated. Rochester scored 2 in the fifth and three more in the sixth, to pull to within 2. In the seventh, Kevin West crushed a 3 run, game-winning homer off loser Tim Bausher (2-2). The series concludes on Tuesday night at 7:05 at Frontier Field. Lenny DiNardo (6-3) faces Boof Bonser (10-7).
