August 22 Trenton Thunder (Yankees AA) vs. Jon Lester & the Portland Sea Dogs
Portland Sea Dogs vs. Trenton Thunder
Jon Lester who will undoubtedly be part of a bang bang duo with Papelbon, a la Pedro/Schill, is getting the start tonight against the Trenton Thunder, the AA Yankees who counter with their top pitching prospect, . Jon Lester has been doming the AA leagues, in 23 games has a 9-5 record with a 2.63 ERA, one being a shutout, three of the games being complete games!! In 132.1 innings pitched has struck out 147, walked 53 and holding batters to just .220 average. All in all: Go Lestahhh!!

well Jon Lester is off his game so far, 1st inning 1 out, 22 pitches with back to back walks, followed by a 3 run shot to left field, ugh

I'm listening online. Sounds like he's struggling with his command.
