He'll be fine... but he'll also be going back down when Mirabelli comes back from his injury.

Actually, I am not sure on this - how long is Mirabelli's contract? I know originally Shoppach was being groomed to replace Varitek (which will now be 4 years from now)... I'd have to assume if we are going to keep Shoppach we'd want to get him up to the bigs to at least back up Tek for a couple years.

it be best to trade shoppach off in a nice package deal, mirabelli has been singed thru 2006 with a club option for 2007. it would be only right to trade him off so he wont have to spend so much time in triple A
