This thread has a pulse now. Brandon is hitting .316/.395/.566 in 76 AB, but more importantly it looks like the power stroke is arriving. He just hit his 5th dinger tonight. Still only 23. Could he be a late bloomer?

He should have six, but the game was suspended in the 1st inning, about a week ago.

could be a late bloomer. He was big 2 yrs ago and then dropped off the prospect books. 23 is certainly young enough.

Moss on the season:
.317/.430/.604/1.034, 7 HR, 21 RBI, 19 BB, 25 K, 16 runs in 101 ABs. Everyones caught up in Ellsbury right now (and for good reason) but Moss is tearing up AAA also and is actually younger than Ellsbury. Two very talented OF prospects in AAA right now (3 if you want to include Murphy)

Murphy or Moss will be eventually dealt for relief help. Padres course have Linebrink on the trading block and are looking for outfield help. hmm, package him and another player and just maybe these 2 teams can pull something together

Definately like tthat idea, as I'd rather keep Ellsbury over Moss at this point. A bullpen with 5 dependable arms would be very valuable (that's if you count Donnelly). |
