Have any of you guys ever heard of this cat? He played in Boston's A and AA farm teams.

He was traded from Cleveland. He doesn't play for anyone now.

He plays in the park I work at now. Were a little league called the Frontier league. Anyways, I was talking to him today about playing up in Boston, and what he thought about Paplebon, and Lester. He said Paplebon had the smoothest pitch he has ever caught. And was talking about Lester, having some nasty stuff on his breaking balls. Told me some stuff I never knew about these guys. But Clint is a cool guy. Told me the reason he was dropped though, was because he batting average was horrible.

ya he batted like .190 in single A.

yea he ain't doing to hot down here either, he's a great catcher, but he just can't hit to well. I think he batted last season at a .185

clint chauncey hit a 2 shot home run to take the lead once and for all. He was the player of the game, with a HR, 3 RBI's and a SB. He went 2-4 at bat.

If you guys are down for it, after every game down here we play, I'll let you know how Chauncey is doing. I figured it would be a great way to see how former Red Sox's are doing, and stuff. Go even more detailed into the meaning of Minor League

We had double header tonight. First game Chauncey hit another homer with 3 RBI's. Second game, he didn't do much at all. A single at best.
