Just got back from the Nuggets game and my oh my was it as bad ass. Not as special as my first playoff, given the struggles the Nuggets had suffered through for ten years, but it was still amazing.

Haha, it was definetely there. A suprisingly large amount of people agreed with it.

Sucks I didn't get on TV -- figured I wouldn't. Couldn't even get on the big screen at the Pepsi Center.

Oh well, we were able to take all sorts of signs that were hanging up outside of the Pepsi Center.

Edit: There were a very large amount of "Sam Cassell Phone Home" signs along with other signs pointing out the fact that Sam Cassell looks like ET, though. He got booed a lot, during that game. Does he get that kind of reaction everywhere, or just Denver?

anyone see that nasty dunk Kobe had on Steve Nash. That was sick. I can't seem to find the pic of the dunk online, but it was sick

i am not a huge fan of basketball however i like the mavericks , now that they have swept the grizzlies they say they will next play the winner of the spurs and kings no matter what happens in the remaining series ,now isnt the NBA the same as hockey as far as the second round goes the top seed meets the last seed?

The NBA does not reseed like the NHL so it will be Dallas v.s. either the Spurs or Kings in the next round while the Clippers will play either the Lakers or Suns.

What are you talking about? The seedings in both the NHL and NBA are identical. For the 2nd round, it will be 1st/8th vs. 4th/5th and 2nd/7th vs. 3rd/6th.

The NHL re-seeds after the 1st round. Say the Canadians come back and win the series over Carolina. Since they are the lowest seed remaining then they would play Ottawa. The NHL has always been different with the seeding.

The Senators, who won for the fifth time in 13 playoff series, will face the lowest seed remaining among Montreal (seventh), Philadelphia (fifth) and Buffalo (fourth) once the first round is completed.

Just scroll to the bottom and you will read what I just wrote.

damit i was hoping they would only have to meet the spurs in the conference final ,but who knows maybe the kings can pull a huge upset ,and then again i guess they will have to face the spurs sooner or later GO MAVS

Boy oh boy was it painful watching Greg Buckner play in this series. Not his fault, either -- he's just not the type of player that they needed him to be because we NEVER acquired a shooter. The playoffs are a halfcourt game and Kiki NEVER acquired one of the two things you need to be successful -- a shooter or a big man that can back you down. This whole team needs to be blown up -- that's also the talk here on Denver talk radio. Nobody's untouchable but 'Melo. Time to start anew.

I'm really looking forward to a Laker, Clippers Series. That will be tight as hell to see. But first we have to get past the thief, Steve Nash.

i wouldnt be to confident getting past the suns .better hope you win game six cause you dont want to back for a game 7 in pheonix

The MVP.

Anyways, I think Kobe getting ejected was the worst think that could've happened to the Suns. Look for Kobe to rip them apart in LA.

O well im a Lakers fan. I love the lakers, and I always say We with my team. It's a habit.

WTF? I thought you were a Heat fan?

Does anyone else find it funny that, in regards to the officiating, Steve Nash said that Kobe "always gets what he wants"? In my experience of watching the NBA this year, Nash gets as many calls as just about anybody.

Let him. That means no one else (on the Lakers) scores, and we most likely win.

No, no, no. If Kobe goes on a tear like he's capable of, Phoenix stands very little chance.

HA. I find that funny because when he goes on his tears...its 1 on 5...last I checked Kobe didn't average 108 per in the reg season. We can outscore him. The reason they've been winning is because he is actually passing the ball. Let him shoot, we can outscore one man, he averaged 42 per against us and his team was 1-3 (the one win we could care less about, so technically in games that everyone tried in, he was winless). So as far as I'm concerned, let him score 60, jack up 40+ shots tomorrow...his mates will be lucky to get 35 as a group.

Don't forget See Red, we led the league in scoring at 108 points per. I think we'll be alright in a scoring battle with Kobe.

EDIT: Oh, and Nash was the rightful winner of the MVP...theres no question. If Kobe played like he has in this series all year, it would have been closer, or he might have won it. But thats hypothetical, Nash winning it wasn't, and this won't last; we are talking about Kobe Bryant afterall.
