Nationals only 5 games out in loss column for best record. There is time very little, but it's still possible.
    Wow, what a nosedive.

    No.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

If Sale wins the Cy Young over Kluber, I'll be absolutely stunned.

If Cleveland breaks the record I'll be absolutely stunned.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

It's a 12:10 start tomorrow, Buck Farmer against Mike Clevinger, a matchup that overwhelmingly favors Cleveland.

IMO, Kluber has passed Sale as the favorite.

I wonder how many people realize how almost impossible it is to win 21 baseball games in a row.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

I won't be too upset if Kluber gets it. He deserves it.

Yesterday Cashner posted in the 4 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 8 Rs but only 1 ER? Can someone explain to me like a 10 year old, how is this possible?

Easy. In the 4th inning of the game Cashner gave up the 8 runs. Only 1 was earned because there was an error with 2 outs and 7 of the runs scored after the error. If the error hadn't been made he would only have given up the 1 run.

I would almost bet one of the game announcers used the phrase 'opened up the floodgates' LOL

Thanks Bell, so after that error with 2 outs, he could allow 20 more Rs and still would be only 1 ER?

    Didn't know that.
