I am not a fan of either the Hold or the Save stat.

Once again, DRA. It's a relatively new stat so it hasn't caugtht on yet (and may never catch on), but it takes all of that into account. Its creators know that giving up a run on a bases loaded GIDP is not the same as giving up a run on a 2 out, man on 1B double.

One of the reasons that I'm not a fan of the Save stat. I remember Papelbon being charged with a blown save in a similar situation in the postseason.

Just plain stupid. The classic example for me is the blown save Rivera got tagged with in 2004 Game 5.

Considering that the Sox are missing key arms from their bullpen the production has been pretty good. T-burg is done for the year, and am not sure when or if Smith is going to pitch. With that said, not sure bullpen production can keep up this pace.

I just read that. That's huge. Workman up I think.

It's a good sign that Scott looked good last night.

im sure DD is after RP, but our bullpen is starting to take in water.

Man, these pen injuries are killing us.

I'm almost certain that a pen arm is a high priority at the deadline (or before).

The reliever wouldn't be charged in that case....

In his hypothetical scenario of that stat, they would be.
