Why is this game at 4pm? So so so so soooooo dumb.
You know the answer to that as well as I do. Of all the things that occasionally piss me off about MLB this is one of my pets.
It's all about the networks and the ratings. The networks believe that the Yankees/Indians game will be a better draw than Sox/Astros so the Yankeees/Indians get prime time.
MLB has completely sold out to the networks regarding scheduling. It's why I refuse to plan to go to a scheduled Sunday afternoon game in Boston - MLB and the networks may agree to move the game to 8:00 at the last minute, and I live too far from Boston to be able to deal with that shit.
It's a mere moment in a man's life between the All-Star game and the Old Timer's game.

Go sox!! Let's see what they have to offer this postseason.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
