The only way to get rid of steroids/drugs in MLB

If Mr. Selig, or any

other professional sports commissioner really wants to

get rid of steroids, and other illegal substances,

from major league sports...there is only one way..

1st Offense....Full season suspension, no pay.

2nd Offense....Lifetime suspension with no review.

And the player's unions can take it or leave it....but

that' the rule. For once, the inmates will stop

running the asylum and do what they are told to do for

what they earn, or earn nothing...END OF STORY.

The hell with these overpaid athletes....they are

making millions at the expense of the fans, now its

time to stop doing what any person in private business

would get fired for.... enough is enough, 1st offense

, one full season, 2nd offense, and you are finished,

FOR LIFE. NO APPEAL.

I vowed , following the strike season, that I would never give these overpaid jackasses one thin dime by ever attending anoather MLB game...and millions of others should have done the same. Today's athletes make me want to puke all over them, the greedy bastards....

I'm sure you were entertained when McGwire launched his 62nd HR into the left field fence at Busch Stadium. Hell, I know I was. It's the reason I became a baseball fan.

The players want to take steriods, why should we punish them? It's their bodies, why should we interfere what they want to put into them?

I'm tired of people complaining about greedy athletes. The fans don't care, that's why the keep going to the ballpark in droves.

May I ask, if you've ever turned down a raise?

I assume you would be for the legalization of heroin then, right? It's cool if you are, but you should see where you're going with this.

Greed and steroids are two totally different issues.

What is not fair is that it becomes a test of who is willing to pump the most roids into their body. So a person who actually wants to lead a clean life and keep their testicals intact isn't able to compete. If you're going to level the playing field you have to level it away from illegal drugs and toward humans without any performance enhancement. there is no choice there.

Atheletes should be greedy. I have no problem with that. There is plenty of money for all of them. You can be greedy as hell and choose not to use steroids. Donald trump isn't on steroids.. as far as I know

I am. As long as people aren't hurting each other, I don't give a s*** what people do to themselves.

Making heroin illegal is more dangerous then making it legal. Just think about the unintended consenquences. Gangs, corrupt police, kids get involved, the money that the drugs bring in make gangs incredibly powerful, and extremely attractive for an attempt to make money. Our laws have made cocaine more valuable then gold. The drug war is successful?

take drugs outta baseball and ther numbers go down...less homers, less accomplished athletes = less revenue.

MLB woulda swept this under the rug forever if they had their way. now its out so they have to look concerned, all the while saying damn it, damn it, damn it, why couldn't the use go on unreported?

exactly james

mcguire and sosa resurected the league after the 94 strike nearly ended the sport

that was a wild run back in 98

toe to toe

head to head

then mcguire wins it with sosa in right field applauding and seemingly genuinely happy, mcguires son hugging his dad,the maris's were there, something disney couldnt even duplicate....

gee mark

whats that little arm doing growing out of your neck??

gee barry

3 hat size increases in 1 offseason, incredible off season work out regiment

gee sammy

is that red acne growing on your black arm??

is it a rash??

we all knew

those of us who didnt werent paying close enough attention

anyone remember matty williams??

he had hit what?? 43hrs in 112 games in 1994 as a 2nd basemen??

please

we like to pretend that we had no clue

we act all indignant and s*** because these players are juicing

but

theyre juicing for our, theirs and their teams benefits

personally i dont give a f*** what people put into their bodies so long as it doesnt interfere with myself or family

I could care less what players put in their body but the sport does need to be protected. You also have to protect the athletes that aren't using steroids who have to compete on an unlevel playing field.

The story that came out about Bonds taking steroids was that he was fed up with players who weren't as good as him hitting more HR's. So he took the steroids too so he would be #1 again.
