Breaking news from the Winter Meetings are that the Royals and Twins are closer to a deal that would include Reggie Sanders and Mark Grudzielanek for Johan Santana. A news conference is scheduled for Tuesday at 3:00.

It was in between stations as I was turning the dial. When I went back, it was a 1920's Big Band AM station. Weird. I'm searching ESPN and CNNSI, but they have no links to confirm it. Stay tuned.
