There is no excuse. None whatsoever. He pushed a man in his 60's to the ground. Unlike the Zimmer thing, where Zimmer went after Pedro in a baseball fight, there is absolutely no excuse for what he did.
I was hoping the Sox would let him go at the end of the season and we'd get a crack at him. Best thing Theo can do is trade him to Kansas City or Seattle. Let him see what it's like to play in games that don't mean shit. Maybe the Pirates would take him for Nady and Fuentes.
