If Lugo comes home to boo's and flips off Fenway, do you honestly think he'd make it out the park with his life or sanity?

I have never been a Lugo guy, and you can search these forums all day long for that.
I think a statement that can be made about Lugo that is more appropriate is that the grass is not always greener on the other side. You cant really call people flip floppers over Lugo, because there werent very many people who agreed with the deal since day one.

Your opinion of who was better than who seem to switch on a daily basis.
If you look at that first quote, you claim that Lugo was going to bring the offense we hadn't had out of the SS position since Nomar, also your backtracking of Orlando Cabrera's offensive abilities.

I didnt mention Nomar once.
I said that both were better offensively than Lugo. I never once said Lugo will provide more than any of them.
I didnt backtrack on Cabrera either. I said he was better than Lugo both offensively and defensively. I said I was not a Cabrera guy.....how you got your opinion of what I meant, I dont know.
I said I was a Renteria guy......again, do a little research on these boards, and that will back it up.
My opinion of them does not switch on a daily basis. Ill restate what Ive thought all along:
I never once mentioned Nomar......ever. I really have no clue where you got this.
I have never been a Lugo supporter.
I would much rather have had Renteria or Ocab.
I was not sad to see Ocab go.....although, like my grass is not greener on the other side statement would indicate, either of the two would be preferred today. I appreciate now what those two brought to the table. They were both very good players. I am not backtracking on Ocab, I thought he was a good player....I just thought Renteria would be better, and it did not turn out for the best.
Go back through the old threads man. If you can find anywhere where I said that Lugo would provide the offense missing since Nomar (and again, I have NEVER brought up his name) I will admit I am wrong.

Anyway, I know Lugo won't get killed, literally if he were to give off the middle finger, but I don't think it would help him in anyway. If he's already pissed at what the media will say, look at what they'll do to him if he gives up the middle finger. They'd rip him a new one. And if he's saying that all this negativety doesn't help, then I'm sure flipping off the fans won't be an improvement. Atleast mentally.

Re: Julio Lugo Goes Off on the Media
Dude, who the fuck even brought up the middle finger?
Are you just trying to fit Ted Williams into this topic?

Oh yeah, you got me there...
No I was merely answering someone who had mentioned about Lugo may come back from Detroit to a booing crowd at Fenway, all pissed at him. Then I thought about how Williams was booed and didn't give a shit and gave it right back. So I decided to start up a discussion, excuse me for trying to provoke thought and conversation. Sorry I don't level up to your standards.

What the fuck do I care about Renteria? I never brought it up. I'm just tired of you always pulling this shit.
SCM (2006) - Way to go Theo! Lugo is an offensive upgrade over Cabrera, and will bring numbers at the position we haven't seen since Nomar.
SCM (2008) - Way to go Theo! Lugo sucks, and I have always known this. Look at the numbers, Lugo is worse then Cabrera at every stat.

Re: Julio Lugo Goes Off on the Media
Crespo...
on 06/07/06 I actually said this about Renteria:
"I think the bigger mistake was the Renterria blunder. First of all, offensively he had a pretty solid season, defensively he was a mess, but from all indications of his career numbers and post-redsox numbers...those 30 errors were a fluke. Had Renterria been given another year he may have hit even better and im sure his D would have improved."
Again, I said this on the same date, when SOMEONE ELSE claimed him to provide offense similar to Nomar:
"The next Nomar? Where the hell did you dig that up, or did you just fabricate it?"
On 6/14/07, I had this to say about Lugo:
"I say we have to stick with him. Hes absolutely awful......but we seriously need some stability at the SS position. I dont want to get rid of another, then the following year say once again..."man we shoulda just kept lugo" just like i did with ocab, renteria, and now agon. His track record shows he will come out of it.....and we are the best team in baseball.....lets just stick with him a little longer and hopefully we are rewarded like the way we have been with Drew and Pedroia and Crisp lately. All 3 were pretty terrible at some point, and have all turned it around."
On 08/07/2007 I had this to say about Renteria:
"....that, or the fact that the guy almost has 2000 career hits and is only 31 years old. Or the fact that he is a very good defensive SS save for his season in Boston. Maybe its the fact that hes a very good baserunner. It could also be the fact that his career OBP is .001 shy of .350.
He had a bad year. I would love to see him still in Boston. he averages 161 hits a year and 70+ Rbi.
I take him any day of the week over Ocab or Lugo."
On 08/07/2007 I had this to say about Renteria and Lugo:
"Definately.....and we all thought we were giving Renteria wayyyyyy too much money, only to give Lugo assloads to hit .220 all while Agon had a solid offensive year."
Looks pretty consistent to me.

No, but you do meet the standards of RtT, adam123, castigs, and TW101. Right up their alley.

Nice try.
Nowhere do you address the fact that you stated that Lugo was an upgrade over Cabrera, but now you've always thought that Cabrera was the better option. You continue to drive the Renteria point home, when I didn't even bring him up.
Drew on board
(BTW, your Nomar point is in there.)
Please stop lying. It gives people cancer.
