And certainly, the Red Sox won't even look at him.
Funny, the person who ends up most screwed throughout all of this, is probably Manny Ramirez.

Yeah I made a post in the Manny to Yankees thread about that. The Angels have confirmed that they don't want any part of Manny.
Also screwed in this deal are the Brewers and Blue Jays, who get lower compensation draft picks from losing Sabathia and Burnett, respectively.

Re: Teixeira
I guess theo and this ownership group didnt want tex enuff cause if they did want him he was there's for the taking.
another mvp candidate to the bronx while our front office considers?? considers what??
they sat on their asses all fall knowing this was the guy they wanted and they let their arch rivals walk in and grab him up.
what the fuck are they doing this offseason??
this maybe the year they decide to cash in with 19 different owners looking to make a buck.
I will repeat that tex is kevin youkilis #s wise but if they keep the same dimensions in the bronx he will be much more powerful with the short right field porch.
In theo we trust
In the bronx they sign ball players
He will bring a great glove and some better #s than the giambino put up but it is what it is,just another hurdle for the sox to overcome.
this guy was supposed to be ours, the sox fucked up cause he was their 1 and only goal this fall.

I'd also be epic if they ran away with the division...
I'll reserve my judgment until the end of the season, but right now I'm not liking this off-season. We have so many question marks its scary.

Still time, wouldn't be surprised if the Sox make a big move.

Shut the fuck up.
The Red Sox were offering him around the same contract, and now you're pulling the morality card?
What a fucking hypocrite.

They won't. They don't wanna trade anyone and there's no one left to sign.
We're gonna get Jay Payton as a fourth outfielder and Bob the mechanic to catch

I don't agree with the "slap in the face" statement, but $422.5M on three players in one off-season is a bit... outrageous, wouldn't you say?
