Re: Red Sox v. Angels ALDS Discussion
Baldelli will also not be on the roster and the Sox are expected to carry both Anderson and Gaithright. I hope Drew doesn't get a case if vaginosis. We may need to kidnap Anderson so Tito can't platoon him with Drew and play him against Saunders.

I'd go to Boston and kill Tito.

Re: Red Sox v. Angels ALDS Discussion
If I see Brian Anderson on the field or at the plate against the Angels in anything other than a blowout situation, I will drop a neutron bomb on Los Angeles.

I'll pay your fare. Of course , it would be in cash so nothing could be traced to me. I'll hook you up with some phony papers so you can slip in and out of the country without getting caught.

Don't tempt me.
I'd kill him in an instant.

Re: Red Sox v. Angels ALDS Discussion
So then you agree that if Drew comes to Tito before, during or after one of the games complaining of a tight quad, hamstring, groin etc, that Tito should just tell him that there is no one else and that he is not coming out of the lineup. I don't care if Drew has to go out there with 1 less limb.

I'd lend him one of mine.
But honest to God, if i see Brian Anderson in a postseason game, i'm going to flip the fuck out.

Re: Red Sox v. Angels ALDS Discussion
On another note, a lot of us like Baldelli and would like him to succeed, but he is not a reliable 4th OF. Even with his limited playing schedule he managed to fnd his way to the DL twice, and now he is a no-go for the playoffs. There were other times where he couldn't finish games due to fatigue.

Wait, was Baldelli left off because off his condition/health? I thought Gathright and Anderson made it because they will probably be used in pinch running/late defensive situations.

Should I take care of him tonight? He is in a hotel not to far from me.

Re: Red Sox v. Angels ALDS Discussion
Hey, does anyone know how to fine all time stats from the Red Sox vs. Angels in the playoffs?

Health. He is a great RH fill in for Drew, but not if he's unable to play when it matters most.

I read: Wakefield. He's the mop up man, the innings eater when it probably doesn't matter. The its the third game of the series and we're down 8 runs in the 4th mopping. The Sox BP doesn't really have anyone resembling long relief, so they need a starter who resembles a mediocre light-usage bullpen guy. Paul Byrd, unshockingly, fits that role 2nd best after Wakefield of all the players on the team.

Wakefield's not starting in the playoffs though. I'm pretty sure he's not on the roster.

He meant that since Wake is not on the roster, Byrd will fil the "Wake-esque" role.
