Brad Thomas

So we got Brad Thomas from the Twins. I just hope we don't do something stupid in the process of giving them a player. Thomas is injured, he will start the season on the AAA DL. I don't really know anything about him, except that he is 53-51 with a 3.87 ERA in 169 career minor league outings, mostly starts. Not that impressive in the ML: 0-3, 9.89 ERA in 11 games pitched. He's 26, so hopefully that thing about kicking ass in your late 20s will kick in.

Ugh. Looking over this guy's stats I see nothing at all worth noting. He looks terrible. What's going through Theo's head with this?

You can never have too many hard throwing left-handed pitchers in the AL East. Especially when you play in Yankee Stadium as much as Boston does...
