Should Kim's next start should be for the Red Sox or Pawtucket, do you think?

I'd let Arroyo start until he struggles, and I think using Kim in the bullpen is a mistake. Let Kim build up to 100% at Pawtucket, and keep him there until he's needed. An interesting problem (but one that would be welcomed) come arise if Kim's ready and Arroyo continues to shine.

Paying 6 million for a AAA player is a bit crazy, even for Red Sox standards. But the way Bronson's playing Kim really doesnt need to be introduced into the starting rotation. Let him come back up to full strength, and then see if Bronson begins to struggle.

Hey, I'm new to the forum, but I've been loyal to the Sox forever.
Anyway, I'm a bit worried, A Kim vs. Zambrano matchup is not exactly appealing. We have no idea what Kim is going to be like. As someone else said, it's like giving your kid the keys to your new luxury car a day after they get their license. Do I have faith in Kim? Yes. Do I think he's ready to be back in the starting rotation? Not yet. I'd like to see him out of the pen first, but if he pitches well I guess I'll have to keep my mouth shut.
Anyway, lets hope the Sox can pull out wins in both the day and night games, and complete a sweep of the series.

Kim doesn't deserve to be in a red sox uniform. Ship him anywhere but here. He's a bum. I've got a couple choice fingers for him.

ACL BoSox, welcome to the site. I guess your worries were assuaged though. He pitched well.
Just to keep things tidy, I'm merging this with the other ongoing Byung Hyung Kim post. So thats where it went, dont worry.

Aw, come on. The fans deserved that. We treated him in a completely dickish manner last year. He didnt pitch well, but he certainly will in the future. I've always been a big supporter of him, and he'll show great things in the future.
One incident like that shouldn't be the end of him in people's minds.

I liked what I saw today, even if his outing was a little bit limited. I, too, ahve always liked BK. I just somehow know that he will snap out of whatever was slowing him down as a reliever in the past and shine in the starting rotation. He'll do great things in the future, as roary said.
It's also a plus to have that submarine style pitcher there in the rotation, because it gives batters a very different kind of look during games. Imagine facing that at number five and then faving pedro and schilling at 1 and 2. Nasty.

I loved his start today. With limited pitches, he was pretty dominating as he allowed no runs. Who do you think should have the five hole in the rotation, BK or Bronson. Both have pitched well recently, it's a tough question.

I must admit, Kim showed me something yesterday. He's definately worthy of that last spot in the rotation. I like the rotation, and I love the bullpen.
