I realize Cards fans have many memories of this place, but mine has to be October 27, 2004, sitting in section 334 and watching the Sox.

I still don't really see the need for a new stadium in St. Louis. Busch Stadium is/was a great place to watch a game. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards ownsership puts the team up for sale after the new place is open.

It'll be sad to see the place where, just last October, the Red Sox celebrated their first World Series win in 86 years coming down.

Isn't it too sterile and soulless? I've never been there, but it gives off this concrete behemoth image on TV.

I've never been there either, but on TV, it does look a lot better than all of the other cookie cutter stadiums (ie. Three Rivers, Veterans Stadium)... then again, that doesn't say much as those were awful. It did look really nice when they had the arches lit up

Ive never been there and always wanted to go. In fact I was supposed to go this summer but my medical situation pretty much nixed that one in the ass.

Too bad

I've been to most of the parks and, comparitively speaking, busch stadium is quite a nice place to watch a baseball game. When i went they were playing the Cubs so the atmosphere was amazing. The fans there are so unbelivebaly loyal. As for the ballpark itself, it was pretty nice. It doesn't have the great concourses like many of the newer parks have, but it a pretty comfortable stadium. It also has that sort of old fashion feel to it which is very nice. I guess the Cardinals are just trying to keep up with the times.
