Default Pesky's Pole??
OK, this may make me look like the most ignorant Red Sox fan ever, but I don't know why "Pesky's Pole" is named what it its. Can anyone summerize the story for me??

Johnny Pesky wasn't much of a power hitter. Story goes that he had a knack for hitting the ball just far enough in the right field corner in and around the right field foul poll when he played. He was a small guy so there wasn't any other part of the park he could really hit one out of except for that area.
