(last 2/3rds of the season June-Sept

Wang 22GS, 143IP, 3.65ERA, 121ERA+, 11-4W-L

Pettite 22GS, 138IP, 3.85ERA, 114ERA+, 10-5W-L

Hughes 20GS, 120IP, 2.55ERA, 173ERA+, 11-2W-L

We're doomed, Sox fans. Once June rolls around the Yankee rotation will lose 19 games the rest of the way. 19!

Read through this thread over there, it's full of comedy.

Try looking at 2.50's predictions about Dellin Betances from the PECOTA thread in the Stats Forum. Apparently, based off 23.1 rookie league innings and some glowing scouting reports, he has "calculated" that there's a 50/50 chance his career ERA+ is north of 150, which would make him 2nd on the all-time list between Pedro (160) and Lefty Grove (148).

WE'RE DOOOMED!!

That guy has become a punchline on baseball boards across the country.

It has as much of a chance of happening as I do of banging Jessica Alba in the ass...(Sorry mods for the explicit language, I felt it a need, to get the point across properly)

I love it.

He never actually discloses any methodology. He adds 2% of performance across the board, even for pitchers who are older!

He's projecting miles better numbers for Clemens than he had during his last tour in NYY!

I love the Hughes projections though. LOVE them. Especially when he compares Hughes to Liriano.
