Sox to enter frozen tundra of the northeast
Has anyone seen the weather predictions for the sox upcoming games? Holy shit, if any of you guys are going to the games, wear your long johns.
Tuesday- 2:05 45 degrees at gametime, it will feel like 39
Wednesday- 7:05 37 degrees at gametime
Thursday- 4:05 Rainy and 38 degrees
Friday- 7:05 37 degrees at gametime
Saturday- 3:55 beginning near 50, but tapering off to 40 with rain
Sunday- 1:05 44 degrees and rainy
Monday- 10:05 AM will start out in the low 40s, work its way up to 49 degrees and rainy
It looks like the sox will be catching the back end of the cold front, pack warmly.

Re: Sox to enter frozen tundra of the northeast
I'm going to Wednesday also...but I love the cold. This is sweatshirt weather for me because I'm so used to it. I only put on a jacket when it reaches single digits. Call me crazy...whatever.
Thanks for the heads-up, though, Jacko.

Heads up. I was watching Sports Final last night and they said that the Sox may move Thursday's game up to Wednesday and create a day / night double header. The reason, this is the only time Seattle comes here this year.

If they do that, I'm going to be so pissed you won't even know it. These are tickets for my birthday and I can only go at 7 on Wednesday. Would the Thursday game become the day game?

Still, it's got to be better than Cleveland.

no problem. I dont think the cold will affect the sox pitching as much as it will the fans. Stay warm, and dont puss out and leave halfway through. You had to give up a small fortune to go to these games, might as well make it worth it.

They implied that, Thursday game would be the night game, but they weren't sure.

Cleveland is about as brutal as it is up here. Sigh. Nothing like walking out with your hair still wet from the shower, only to see it freeze up on you....in April. Fanfuckingtastic.

Re: Sox to enter frozen tundra of the northeast
I would never, EVER, leave a game due to the cold. Maybe I'm lucky with my high tolerance of cold weather, though.

Well if they do that, they're going to have a very angry fan. My parents paid some damn good money to get those birthday tickets.

Re: Sox to enter frozen tundra of the northeast
Wait, so the Wednesday game scheduled for 7 would be moved up to 1?
I wouldn't really mind that one. I probably wouldn't go to school at all since the day starts at 10 30 anyway.
