No, I meant no one pick him so the chart doesn't crash the server.

I was between Hanley and Pujols myself. I chose Hanley because of position scarcity (though Hanley could very well move to CF sometime in the near future), and the speed. Hanley's also younger. Either pick would have been reasonable.
And I don't think I typoed either name.
Yeah in retrospect I should have picked a more solid producer, but I really like the kid and I'm hoping my other picks make up for it.
I hereby propose that nicknames that clearly belong to one player are admissable "names."
Such as "Salty" for Saltalamacchia,
I didn't mean typo as in your mistake, just the long names.Originally Posted by Youk Of The Nation;397233;
Kilo: Probably should have asked this earlier, but are we supposed to be picking realistic teams, as in considering defense, batting order, bullpen roles?
I'll do my best.
Maybe I'll just go with last names, with first initial if need be.
In a way.Originally Posted by Coco's Disciples;397236;
If you wanted to draft Miguel Cabrera and make him your catcher, more power to you, but you have to understand all of the things that comes with (ie your pitching staff will suffer tremendously).
Things like park factors will not be of significance, think of making a team how they would perform in a perfectly neutral ballpark.
Does a player need to be under contract to be selected?
Yeah, can I pick Barry Bonds or Clemens or something? Not that I would, just an example.
I'm going to draft mine that way.Originally Posted by Coco's Disciples;397236;
Are you considering a Roger Clemens reunion? :lol:Originally Posted by ORS;397239;

Methinks he's looking for a guy like Stephen Strasburg or Bryce Harper.Originally Posted by msubulldogs21;397243;
