The Simpsons in the 90s/early 2000s is always what I will remember best.
I agree. The Simpsons, the longest-running scripted comedy show in television history, was all time best for me.
I think thats out of context. It might be the best, but its later years hurt its overall standing. All the "greatest show" competitors have in common that they more-or-less went out on top. The Simpsons could have gone out about 8 years ago, but now the show is about as funny as Family Guy. It will assuredly go out on a low-point.
Anyone who doesn't think "Homer's Enemy" is one of the greatest TV episodes of all time is neither American nor human.

Season 8 might be the best season ever in any TV series. So many great episodes in that season alone.
