    What?

    My wife bought a pool.

It sucks because it's just another thing that I'll be stick dealing with.

I'm guessing pools are a lot of work, but I was thinking that a pool is a good thing, no?

    The kids will love it!

They really are a pile of work. They're the perfect thing for a friendly next-door neighbor to have LOL

A lot of work, a lot of money and they kids aren't old enough to use it unsupervised.

When we had our last pool, the only time it was used was when I was cleaning it. My wife has stated that she'll help out more and that it'll be worth it this time, but that remains to be seen. Our weekends are busy enough that it's hard to find time to just relax let alone clean a pool.

Yup, our old neighbors were the best. Too bad they moved away.

It was a lot of fun when they were pre-teen and worth the work. My backyard was like a summer camp for several years.

Once my kids got to be teenagers, they used the pool very seldom. One year, they didn't use it at all. At the end of the season, I hired a demolition and rubbish removal company to get rid of the pool. No one missed it.

When we first moved in to a house with the pool, I told our pool maintenaince guy the wife seemed to like cleaning the pool and it looks like she is going to help out.

He laughed, and told me the guy takes care of the pool about 95 percent of the time. And that is what happened.

They aren't much work really.......... but I find our pool a constant worry......

they cost a bundle when they go wrong though...

Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark, and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight
