Gardner has improved on his rate since the beginning of the yr. He was 5 for 11, since then he's 8 for 9. Regardless, the metrics show that he's terrific defensively and above average offensively. He will never hit for power. His worth will be generated by his OBP, his SBs and his defensive ability. And since the end of April, he's figured it out

According to a poster on nyyfans some A's scouts were at the double dip Trenton game, tracking Mesa and Joseph. Perhaps for a Harden deal?
