Thread: A Red Sox Anthem

    A Red Sox Anthem

    Howdy,

I'm a lifelong fan - starting about...1946 (!)...and just now getting around to putting up a tribute to the team. I was spurred to make a youtube video when I found an old photo of myself with Vern Stephens and Billy Goodman (batting champ in '48!). I also wrote the tune before the 2004 season - hoping, hoping, hoping.

Hmm, I see since I haven't posted 15 times I can't post a link to the youtube video. Well, a search of Google for "A Red Sox Anthem" brings it up.

    Enjoy!

    Jon

"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

    Happy to be here.

BTW, if anyone would be willing to post a link to the video, I'd appreciate it. I'll still lack standing for quite some time.
