Shit started at noon with the Wild vs. the Canes, bunch of games on Versus tonight as well.

Canes are up 4-2 taking advantage of their powerplay chances. They're a team that's going to be absurdly good a few years down the road with Brandon Sutter (2 goals today), and Jeff Skinner who is probably the best skater in the NHL, Gleason, Jokinen, O'Sullivan, McBain, Sanguinetti, Staal, and Ward.

I'm so pumped for this season. Me and my roommate split NHL Game Center, I'll be watching way too much hockey.

They drafted him a year ago, this year they drafted Hall and Magnus Paajarvi who are both on their roster as well.

Bruins extend Chara 7 years. It'll be interesting to see how much of that deal he fulfills. Wonder if carrying that big ass frame will shorten his career. He is already not the fleetest of foot so I wonder just how slow he will be at 36, 37, and on.

B's played lax for two periods and went into a 4-0 hole. Horton got 2 back in a much better played 3rd with two LASERS. This guy can play, the Krejci, Horton, Lucic line is gonna be so much fun to watch.

The Caps started out slow but started pouring it on in the second. Two goals from O.V. (is it necessary to call him this, Caps color analyst? stop being annoying.) including one on a penalty shot. This team can score, and Neuvirth is looking nice as well.

Exactly, while not the most articulate post, I agree. Their broadcasters, Benenati and Laughlin are pretty much as biased as they come. They come off as just annoying as fuck.

Come on Kilo, Dojji, et al. I know you guys have something to add to this back and forth about this hockey season.

Hawks could've used Versteeg tonight. Their passing was really sloppy. John Scott's blowout in the 3rd period was a killer.
