He's our #4 right now. And if Pineda comes back this yr, we're gonna be tough

Gotta love that opt-out clause. Especially after Sabathia cashed in on his so nicely.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

If he's worth it after 4, the Yankees will renegotiate. If he isn't, then so be it. All we need is a guy who can throw 180IP with an ERA of around 4 in yr 1. We don't need an ace yet

Congrats to Yankeeland...... But sweet baby Jesus I mean it's not really a shock he's a Yankee, but 7/155M for a guy that's never pitched in the ML and has that kinda mileage on his arm? That's insane. Just insane. Jacko you said it yourself, 155M for a middle of the rotation SP, that's a wtf factor of 10 lol

Pretty sure he'll be our #2, or #3 behind Kuroda, scouts have said he may have the best splitter in baseball.

Jason Coskrey, sports writer for The Japan Times said Tanaka's splitter is better than Uehara's.
