There's a reason why the sox didn't complain about it, they do it too! Eck on the post game said it didn't bother him that a player used pine tar to get a better grip, he just said it's usually not as blatant. I remember when another pitcher was caught using it a few yrs back and opposing hitters had stated they were fine with it since it meant a better grip and less balls in their earholes.
Hal sucks
Don't worry, it was just dirt. He doesn't need pine tar, because he's "got his stuff back"
.....after a few starts.
Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT : Mind your own fucking business if a conversation doesn't concern you and maybe we can start acting like adults.
The players don't seem to care about pine tar. If they don't think it matters, that's good enough for me.

Where was the outrage at Buchholz and Lester from the Blue Jays, and especially the Cardinals?

But how much pine tar was he using? Isn't it bad for him to use such an obvious amount?
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
Rosin/Pine Tar/Whatever. Who cares.
Shit, that's excessive usage of the stuff. He should get thrown out for that like Peralta did. Everybody use it, not every excessively is cover in brown shit.

That incident reveals how ridiculous the controversy is in the first place.
