The Pirates are one of the few teams that I can say that I hope will make the playoffs. The Sox can really hurt their chances in this series, though.

It sounds as if we will see Castillo tomorrow. That should be interesting!

I wonder how Holt is doing? It's a shame that he sustained a concussion but it has given others more playing time.

    GO SOX !!!1!1

So far Ranaudo has been pretty mediocre. He hasn't been excellent, but he hasn't gotten shelled either. He's definitely someone we need to see more of.

I love interleague games. Haven't watched a game since football season began, but I'll turn it on for a while tonight.

That is correct! The Sox must give us a hand tonight. The Pirates are breathing down our necks with cutlass's swinging! A friendly tip: DON'T pitch to McCutchen, Marte, Polonco and especially Josh Harrison!

Middlebrooks + Bradley with 2 men on and no outs = 3 outs in 3 minutes.

The Pirates have a good lineup and PNC seems like a great place to watch baseball.

Rusney Castillo will be in the lineup tomorrow night. Unless the PawSox are postponed, they are in a rain delay now. Castillo hit a solo shot in the 1st, but the PawSox trail 2-1, it's NBC Sports Network

THey are just not very talented. The whole generation of our future stars-- Bradley, Middlebrooks, Bogaert, De La ROsa, Webster, Workman and Ranaudo have been tremendously over-rated by the organization. I think changes are needed to our scouting and talent development departments.

But I really donīt get that. Itīs not as if the Red Sox have been the only ones trying to tell us how good those prospects are /were, they were hyped by pretty much everyone that cared to make a statement on them. So are they really overrated or is something going wrong when they are brought up to play with the big boys? I really donīt know and I still hope that over time we will see some improvements in at least one or two of them, but to go 0 for on all your hyped up prospects certainly is not a common thing, even if you take statistics out of it.

Anyway, shut out again. Listening to these games on WEEI at night I really have a lot of respect for commentating day in day out on this kind of suck without goign apopleptic with rage. When Middlebrooks provided the Pirates with another double play it felt kind of unreal because it was so, so predictable, everyone seemed to just be waiting for it and sure enough he came through. If you donīt laugh youīd have to cry.
