"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
If I'm being honest, the best pizza I ever had was in Brooklyn and it's not even close.
NYC is too big and busy for me. After they closed CBGB's, there was less and less of a reason for me to go there. If I didn't have friends that lived in Park Slope (ugh, just no) I wouldn't have been to NYC in the past 10 years.
My good ex-wife was from Brooklyn, although she spent he late teens in East Hampton. She told me that "New York" had the best pizza. Of course I did not want to believe this. But now I concede that she was probably right. The best pizza I had was in a small pizza shop across the street from a slot car raceway I used to go to in Southampton.
I never made it to CBGBs but wish I had.

Postponed due to... wait for it... cold. Only baseball. "We can't play, it's too cold!". I can only imagine what George Carlin would have said!
