It's come back down to earth, from what I've read lately, but you generally wont lose money unless the car gets damaged.

I'd like to find a '64 Buick Riviera.
They,ve got an unusual look and they have either a 401 or 425ci "nail head" V8.
The nailheads were known for producing tons of torque.

It would make a great sleeper.

Check out this one...... it's like the grand daddy of 64 rivieras.....

In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
    In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
    In our yellow submarine

With good tires, they're certainly heavy enough!

You can probably find a Deville with FWD for decent money.
I live in Austin........ so winters are no problem. The problem is having good AC in the summer.........

    I'd dig driving a Deville........

So living in Austin is cool that we have so many classic cars kicking around here........ they don't rust...............

in Spring they have this custom car and hot rod festival.......... it's incredible....... hundreds of cars parade up and down this old Texas strip all day and all night.......people setup chairs and it turns into this drinking street party later on......... the cars are amazing. You see lots of 50's Cadillacs that look like something George Jetson would drive....

I asked a guy one time at a gas station what his 1960's Ford Fairlane cost........... and it was gorgeous........ he said less than 20 grand.....

    Sounds like a good time!
I must have misread one of your posts, I thought you mentioned winter driving.

Yeah, the classic "famous" cars, like 'Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers can be expensive to buy, but the less popular cars like the Fairlanes, Impalas and the Buicks can be had for a lot less.
The old Caddy's look awesome, with the big ol tail fins!

It's tough finding nice old cars up here in New England.
The rust is brutal up here.

If you pick up a car, post some pics!

I'm not normally a fan of oversized wheels and rubber band tires, but they look good on that Buick!
And that is a nice steering wheel. It can't be stock!
I wonder where it came from?

If you're thinking big classics, consider a Lincoln Continental.
The suicide doors are a unique feature!

You could probably find a nice one for 20 grand.

Yeah, I think you're right about the Matrix car.

My office used to be next door to an auto body shop that did a ton of business with Patriot players.

Richard Seymour had a black '65 convertible with a red leather interior and suicide doors. That car was way cool.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

I get a lot of info from car forums.
Just be sure to get a second and third opinion for tough diagnoses.
There's a forum for literally every car out there.
People actually discuss cars like they do baseball? Who knew?

Are there car forum trolls? LOL

This thread is the exact reason why the "eye roll" emoticon was invented.
