Yeah, but it's his time of the year. He gets one two month long period per year.

I think that it is no longer the case. He will be lucky if he has 2 good weeks,

Look Cleveland, this is getting fucking ridiculous. Lose a goddamn game already.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

No, let them get this winning thing out of their system early.

Think the Dodgers fire Roberts if they continue to fizzle out the rest of the way and lose the NLDS?

    What's up with the Cubs?

Their getting shelled by the Brewers 14-0.

They have 6 guys with 21+ HRs and two with an OPS over .900.

    Wade Davis as a closer.

Arrieta, Lester, Lackey, Quintana and Hendricks as a rotation!

All this, and they're 3 games worse than us.

    Our old friends...

    Rizzo .280 31 102 (.925 OPS)

    Lester 10-7 4.35 / 1.30 WHIP

    Lackey 11-11 4.65/ 1.28

    Uehara 3-4 3.98/1.16 (43 IP)

Dodgers losing again, 4-3 in the fourth. They've lost 8 in a row and 9 of 10 and they're still 10 games up in the division and 42 games over .500. Insane.

    - From the 2004 ALCS Game 4 Gamethread. A reminder that no game is over until the final out is recorded, and things will always get better. Misspellings unchanged as a reminder that Yankees fans are just terrible.

Houston gets swept by the A's in a double header 11-1 and 11-4.

Maybe the last series of the season will mean something.

Well, they're tied with Cleveland now, so perhaps that last series will determine who, among us or them, will host Game 1 of the ALDS.
